In the Food Service Equipment sector, food distribution from the point of cooking to the customers table, can take place using hot or cold trolleys and self-service islands and make use of various heating elements:
- Sheathed tubular, also with an incorporated safety system (thermofuse)
- Cartridges heating element with or without self-regulation
- Flexible foil heating element
- Heaters immersed in aluminium casting to apply directly on the surface to be heated (bain marie)
To keep warm utensils and food can also be used:
- Operationals kits, composed of a stainless steel container, into which is placed a heating element, a fan and a regulating thermostat
- Ceramic heaters of different power ratings and shapes through a radiant heating
