In this application sheathed tubular heaters are exposed to severe operating conditions due to the solvents normally used for the "chemical washing" of fabrics being particularly aggressive and harmful in a very short time. It is therefore essential to have both the right technical specifications (power and surface load) and a careful choice of material for the sheath that will ensure reliability and duration. Special attention is paid to the different stages of the production process in order to avoid those critical points which can "weaken" the element and therefore permit the chemicals to attack the material easily, resulting in corrosion.
