Specifically for the heating of water inside the washing machine, IRCA supply the market with a wide range of heating elementes suitable for all requirements. The environment of operation, the water and detergent at temperature levels of 60-92°C and the precipitation of limestone on the heater sheath are the main causes of humid corrosion and affect the life of the heating element. Years of experience and testing both in our laboratories and on appliances from all over the world, allow us to choose the most suitable materials for the production of heating elements, as well as to design their correct configuration and specific power, in order to guarantee a much longer reliability. As for protections, IRCA has launched into the market a comprehensive range of safety devices, which include:
- 1-phase and 2-pase thermal fuses, with cut off times made specifically different according to the type of pin (either in iron or copper) and to the different calibration of the thermal fuses;
- 1-phase and 2-phase microswitches, with adjustable cut off times;
- combination of thermal fuse and microswitch. A water temperature control system can also be added to the protections. This system operates by means of an NTC sensor. For purposes of energy saving, we propose a flow heater complete with thermostats operating outside the tub. This allows a considerable reduction in the consumption of water, energy and detergents.
